The revolution of “rugged Notebooks“Lizard^® RS11 – To the established Rocky^®notebooks and Panther tablets, which are generally mounted in vehicles, roda computer GmbH succeeded in the revolution for the “mobile” mission. It is the first rugged notebook which is ultra flat, light as well as the enclosure milled out of all-aluminium. Thereby it was possible to get a high rigidity and robustness in spite of the small aailable space and the weight. With just 2.5 kilograms (5.5 lbs) and a height of 24 mm (< 1 inch) roda computer created a new form factor for notebooks in the “rugged world”. In weight and size the Lizard^® RS11 conforms to the typical commercial Ultrabooks. Therefore this rugged Laptop is particularly made for mobile outdoor missions and for outdoor applications in which every gram counts. Typical for roda computer there could be customizations despite of the slight weight and the small available space. The Lizard^® RS11 performs the requirements of the MIL-STD 810G (Environment) and MIL-STD 461F (EMC) as well as IP65 Protection (with open covers) without any agreements.
